How to start your project?

Creating your first project in Zil Distribution is simple. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a New Project

Log into your dashboard and click on New Project. Give your project a name — this is for internal organization only and won't be visible to the public.

Step 2: Album Information

Fill in your album details:

• Album Title (the name that will appear on stores)
• Release Type (Single, EP, Album)
• Genre and Subgenre
• Release Date (at least 3-4 weeks in advance)
• Language

Step 3: Upload Cover Art

Upload your cover art following the requirements:

• Minimum 3000x3000 pixels
• Square format (1:1 ratio)
• JPEG or PNG format
• No social media handles, URLs, or promotional text

Step 4: Add Tracks

Upload your audio files:

• WAV or FLAC format (lossless)
• Minimum 16-bit / 44.1kHz quality
• Properly named files

Step 5: Complete Metadata

For each track, provide:

• Track title
• Artists and their roles
• Songwriters and composers
• ISRC codes (or let us generate them)
• Explicit content marking

Step 6: Review and Publish

Use the Summary page to review everything before submitting. Once published, your release enters the review queue.
