Getting ready to distribute and release new music?

1. Upload High-Quality Music
Use FLAC or WAV formats. Spotify checks integrity, converts to Ogg/Vorbis, AAC, and HE-AACv2, measures loudness per ITU 1770 standards, and encrypts files.
2. Provide Essential Metadata
- Artist Names: Include all contributing artists separately, consistent spelling
- Artist Roles: Specify main artists, guest artists, and producers
- Release Date: Set at least 21 days in advance for editorial review
- Availability: Choose countries
- Explicit Content: Clearly mark explicit songs
3. Cover Art
Use TIFF, PNG, or JPG. At least 640px width/height, 1:1 ratio, 24-bit sRGB color space. Avoid resizing, don't embed color profiles or orientation metadata.
